Don’t forget those reusable bags!

Starting today, Wegmans will only offer paper bags if customers don’t have reusable ones.

The paper bags will cost five cents, but that nickel will be donated to Feedmore WNY.

For Instacart users, or curbside pickup orders, the fee will be waived.

Wegmans has stocked up on reusable bags, each with a cost between 99 cents and $4.99.

There are insulated, cloth bags and even ones with the Buffalo Bills logo.

There are also plant-based plastic bags available to wrap raw chicken, beef and other meat purchases.

Produce bags are still available as well.

Wegmans will still recycle single-use plastic bags as well as bread bags, plastic outer wraps, produce bags, and cereal box liners, to name a few.

The grocer also says it will always give customers the option for paper bags.
