Don’t miss up the opportunity to see Jurassic World Live at KeyBank Center this weekend, or the fall might be a Tyrannosaurus wreck.
The show offers a roaring good time for families, giving them memories that could last some 65 million years.
Cast members join the dinosaurs on the floor, some operated by “dinoteers,” while others stand some 42 feet high.
"We have a great team of dinoteers who are within the dinosaurs bringing them to life,” said AJ Peterson, the show’s performance director. “We have some people who remote control the larger ones like Mamasegasorous, Tyrannosaurus Rex and there’s seven species of dinosaurs and 21 in total.”
During Jurassic World Live, spectators will recognize some prehistoric characters, while also meeting a new one.
"We have an original storyline that focuses on a dinosaur that has never been seen in any of the movies but you're also going to have a lot of the iconic ones from the movies like Blue, Indominous Rex, and Tyrannosaurus Rex as well making appearances this weekend," he said.
The state-of-the-art props were made with such detail, it's as if they came straight off the Hollywood screen.
"Everything is extremely authentic to the Jurassic World Franchise,” said performer Madison Embrey. “Our gyro-sphere is the first man-made gyrosphere based off the CGI models from the film, and our Tyrannosaurus Rex has the scars that she got from the Indominous Rex battle during Jurassic World, and Blue is replicated from the CGI model in the film, so you're not just getting any Tyrannosaurus Rex or Velociraptor, you're truly getting an up close personal experience with the dinosaurs from the franchise.”
Jurassic World Live continues through Sunday, with tickets starting at $20.
