Friends and family of shooting victim Joshua Jalovick are mourning his "senseless" death.
"We all need prayers cause some way somehow everybody out here probably been touched by a loss," said friend Mike Acoff.
Those who knew Jalovick best shared memories of the 27-year-old and locked arms in prayer.
"Whoever did this, it will come to bear that the justice system will be at work and at play because somebody saw something and then said something. That is my prayer," said Pastor James Giles of the Buffalo Peacemakers.
Jalovick is the third victim of a series of fatal shootings in Buffalo this week. He leaves behind three young children.
"Both of our daughters are really about to be out here fatherless," said Kiera Hudson, the mother of Jalovich's 1-year-old daughter.
Hudson and Stephanie Jones say their children won't get to see the best characteristic of their father.
The Buffalo Peacemakers say these vigils are needed to help these families with the healing process.
"We hope that some healing can come out of this and maybe even information on the perpetrator," said Buffalo Peacemaker Lenny Lane.
These are also families that may feel forgotten as they wait for the arrest of whomever murdered their loved one.
"Each one affects us to the level that the community is really crying out for help," said Buffalo Peacemaker Murray Holman.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 716-847-2255.
