Finn Heick is 10-years-old and, like many kids his age, he likes music — but he takes it a step further by doing some good.

- Heick also raises money for Tackle ALS foundation
- He performs in Buffalo and Toronto
Heick enjoys playing guitar and raising money for kids at the children's hospital. He was at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on Saturday to help raise money during the Buffalo Marathon weekend.
He got the gig because one day when he was at the hospital playing, the Buffalo Marathon's executive director heard and invited him to join in on marathon weekend events.
"Well, my shirt says 'kindness matters,'” Heick said. “And so I always tell people it's kind my motto — do what's good."
However, he doesn’t want to just help kids. He also raises money for a foundation called “Tackle ALS.” He wants to help out his favorite author and former NFL player Tim Green, who was diagnosed with ALS.
“He’s so inspiring,” said Finn. “He writes so many good-hearted books and he’s fun to read.”
Finn's goal is to raise $5,000. He's already at about $1,000. He plays at other events around Buffalo and Toronto. To find out his next performance, you can follow Finn on Instagram using the hashtag #buskerfinn.
