Jonathan Schultz says crews continue to prepare for flooding with additional rain in the forecast and the potential for northeast winds later this week.
Department of Transportation crews have been in Olcott since Friday, repairing the shoreline that was eroded with past flooding.
"They're restoring about 20 feet that's been washed away. The long-arm excavator has been able to reach out about 50-60 feet, bring that material back to reinforce the berm, reinforce the shoreline,” said Schultz.
Meanwhile in Wilson, Moyer's Marina and the Wilson Yacht Club are already dealing with flooding.
The Yacht Club has already built a wall of sandbags, while the Marina is dealing with submerged docks.
