Read to Succeed Buffalo wants to share the love of reading with the next generation, but the organization needs a little help to make that happen.

The group is asking for donations of books for infants and toddlers now that a national organization, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, has lost its funding.

The music star's initiative had provided more than 116 million books to low-income families with children younger than 5, but it might have to shut down next month.

Read to Succeed, Larkin Development Group, and Promark Associated Agencies are now accepting donations at their locations through the end of the month in order to keep the book donations flowing and help young readers.
