Girl Scouts are out selling their famous cookies again, everything from Thin Mints to Samoas and Tagalongs.

One troop shared some cookies with Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster during their annual Cookies with the Mayor visit.

The troop was able to ask the mayor questions and he provided advice on facing and overcoming fears.

“I can face my fears and you can always get over fear, even though, like, he became mayor and he didn’t know how to public speak at all,” said Mary Barrick, a Girl Scout from Troop 70214. “I had no idea, like, I would think the mayor of all people wouldn’t have trouble doing that.”

Cookies with the Mayor events take place in March across the Girl Scouts of Western New York's nine county regions.
