Have a case of the Mondays? Stressed out at work? Looking to get out a little frustration?

Joe Palumbo and his friends have a way to make things better.

Capitalizing on the rage room craze, theyโ€™ve created Smash Relief Headquarters, bringing the joy and stress relief of smashing glassware and plates all across the region.

Itโ€™s a 24-foot U-Haul, to be precise, completed with a bullseye painted on the inside wall.

"Western New York can definitely benefit from something like that," Palumbo, the owner of Smash Relief Headquarters said. "Without having to buy our own building, we were able to purchase a vehicle and we can bring it to the people.โ€

The truck rolls up with all the necessary equipment.

"We bring all the safety gear, we bring the weapons, we also bring the whole stock on anything you want to break," said Eric Schultz.

That includes uniforms, just to be safe.

"We get some of those people who are like why don't you go for a walk, or a run, well some people have more frustration than that,โ€ Palumbo added. โ€œNot everyone is the same."

The reasons for wanting to get out some aggression might be different, but the end results tend to match up: "They come in with questions, but they always leave with a smile on their face, and more relaxed,โ€ Schultz said.

The mobile of mayhem starts at $200 for a party, or if the truck is parked at a larger event, the cost is $25 for 20 minutes.

The goal, besides releasing stress, is keeping it local and making it accessible for all.

"Sometimes people tell us they want to break more and we're like, OK,โ€ Palumbo added. "No judgment."
