The Syracuse University community honored the victims of the Pan Am 103 bombing with a rememberance and a wreath-laying ceremony.

In Hendricks Chapel, families and rememberaces scholars gathered at 2:03, the time of the bombing, exactly 30 years ago Friday.

35 Syracuse University students were on-board the flight. Two students from SUNY Oswego were on the flight as well.

Relatives of the victims say they are overwhelmed by the support, and the annual ceremonies help keep memories of loved ones fresh in their minds.

"She was, that was her personality although we all change as the decades go by so I don't know what we would all be like today but yeah, she was. She was very effervescent, she could light up a room when she walked in. Beautiful girl, very beautiful girl," said Martha Alderman Boyer.

The wreath-laying ceremony took place at the wall of rememberance on campus.
