A national tourist destination is about to become a permanent addition to Western New York.

A Vietnam Veterans Wall is going to be installed at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora.

The wall will be eight feet tall and 360 feet long.

It will contain almost 60,000 names of veterans killed during the conflict, all of which were engraved on the memorial by veterans.

To help raise money, Sahlen Packing Company will sponsor construction of a custom motorcycle by Orange County Choppers that will be auctioned off.

The bike will be featured on a February 2019 episode of the show.

The wall will cost approximately $475,000 in private funds.

Assemblyman David DiPietro secured a $100,000 grant for installation of the permanent display.

Officials hope to have the Veterans Wall completed by spring 2020.
