SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio elementary school has minor damage after a driver crashed into the building on Tuesday.

Around 6:49 a.m. a car crashed into Carlos Coon Elementary School on Timber View Drive.

Firefighters said the driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

So far it does not appear the crash will impact the school day. San Antonio police are investigating the cause of the crash.
