They brighten up your social media feed, as well as the neighborhood you live in.
Murals are popping up all over the area, from local and world known artists.
Since 2013 Albright-Knox's Public Art Initiative has worked with artists to put up new murals.
They hope to reach a different audience that might not typically be interested in art, but also have the murals be a platform for learning about history and culture. Albright-Knox says they also are supportive of all the local independent artists that have been transforming spaces into murals around town, and they're not the only ones.
Albright-Knox just unveiled their latest mural on Washington Street by Louise Jones. It's now the largest mural in Western New York.
