RALEIGH, N.C. – After several delays, Raleigh’s new train station will officially open next week.
- Union Station will open July 10.
- All Amtrak service will move beginning that morning.
- The new address is 510 West Martin Street.
Union Station had been delayed most recently by an issue with the slope of the platform.
The station was originally expected to be finished in late 2017.
Amtrak service will switch in the early morning hours of July 10 to the new location at 510 West Martin Street.
Officials said the new 26,000 square foot building will better accommodate the city’s needs for the future.
Long term parking is available at 223 South West Street. Parking is $2 an hour with a maximum of $18 a day.
Short term parking is available immediately in front of the station. Parking will cost $1.25 per hour and there is a two-hour limit.
