A Buffalo man is facing 25 years to life in prison for starting a fatal house fire in January.
Frank Bredt Jr., 30, was arraigned Monday on two counts of second-degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Elisabeth Bell.
Bredt is accused of setting the fire on Jan. 11 in the Manhattan Avenue home Bell shared with her seven-year-old daughter, who was also injured in the incident.
He was found in a neighbor’s yard and was taken to ECMC to be treated for burns.
Bredt is scheduled to return to court at the end of the month.
