WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — You can get your hands dusty this April to celebrate National Woodworking Month. Rockler Woodworker in Williamsville is offering 'make and take' woodworking courses.

The classes range from two to three hours and offer a range of woodworking from sign making to a lathe turning. All skill levels are welcome, and you can take home what you create.

People will go home with each piece they create.

"Woodworking is a passion. It starts from an infancy of somebody thinking they want to do something and then from that infancy it grows into something larger," said Patrick McBride, the store manager.

Jim Vasi, an instructor added, "I have to warn you, if you get started in woodworking, you're absolutely going to be hooked. Some people like to fish, some people like to do other hobbies. You really get stuck in a hobby when you just love doing it."

Classes start at 11 a.m. every Saturday in April. You can register here.
