IRVING, N.Y. -- Southwestern Boulevard in Irving on the Seneca Nation of Indians Territory has reopened after a fatal crash Saturday afternoon.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office said the driver of a vehicle died when their car became lodged under a trailer towed by a pickup truck.
Both vehicles were heading north on Southwestern Boulevard around 3:00 p.m when the crash happened.
The driver of the pickup truck has been taken to Lake Shore Hospital for evaluation, but did not report any injuries. The road was closed for nearly four hours.
No charges have been filed at this time.
