Buffalo Police have investigated five potential threats toward the city’s public schools in just two days.
A District spokesperson tells us they received multiple tips from kids and parents over social media.
They immediately contacted police after investigating. Officers found no credible threats.
Administrators said they've connected the individuals involved with some of the 51 mental health clinics in the district.
"This is typical for the BPD and BPS, but with heightened awareness by the public, the past two days have yielded more tips than usual," said the BPS in a statement. "We encourage reporting to police for the sake of everyone's safety.
