Water service has been restored to a group of Washington Heights residents after a water main break Wednesday night.
Fire officials say the pipe burst on 158th Street and Broadway just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.
They had shut off water in the area to determine the source of the flooding. That left dozens nearby without water Thursday morning, but service has since been restored.
Protection says crews are now working to restore the roadway and replace the broken pipe.
