Thousands of college students attended Binghamton University's fall job fair Thursday.

The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development holds the event each year to help students looking for internships, full and part-time jobs. More than 130 employers were on hand offering advice and interviewing prospects.

Organizers say that, while many students go to school in Binghamton, they often leave the area after graduating. They hope the job fair will open doors and help keep graduates in Broome County.

Recruiters on hand included M&T Bank, IBM and Pepsico/Frito-Lay.
