A few changes have been made to enhance the popular Pan-African Village. Brad Vivacqua shares what fairgoers can expect this year.
GEDDES, N.Y. -- So many people love to visit the Pan-African village for the food, music, and the arts. And last year, its popularity really spiked quite a bit when they added a fair entrance next to the village on the east-end of the grounds.
But this year even more improvements were made to open up the walkway and add seating to accommodate more fairgoers.
The fair also improved the two Pan-African Village entranceways and added new signage.
This village celebrates New York's African-American history while people can listen to music, get some drum lessons, shop, and enjoy African or Caribbean food.
There is an entire lineup of music and dancing scheduled throughout the fair which you can find on the fairs website.
