HAMBURG, N.Y. -- Three people had to jump out of a second-story window during an early morning fire in Hamburg.

It happened in a garage on Rosedale Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

By the time firefighters got there the flames had spread to the attached home and two cars.

The Hamburg Fire Department says the three people that jumped out of the window were taken to ECMC to be checked out.

Two firefighters were taken to Mercy Hospital for medical issues unrelated to the fire.

The house is considered a total loss.
