OXFORD, N.C. – Gov. Roy Cooper visited the Revlon factory in Oxford Friday to make a jobs announcement.

Revlon is expanding operations at its facility in Oxford and will add 55 new jobs, which will be in addition to the more than 1,300 jobs already in place.

The move is a multi-million-dollar investment by Revlon, which Cooper says will directly benefit the local community.

“Probably around $2 million impact a year just on payroll here,” said Cooper. “So there will be new people who get new jobs. There will be people who work here who will be able to get promotions."

Cooper says the jobs include technician and engineer positions.
