BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Western New York restaurants will line Delaware Avenue this weekend for the 33rd annual Taste of Buffalo.

Organizers expect more than 450,000 people to attend the festival.

Visitors come from all over the country, Canada and even Europe to taste the local dishes.

There will be more than 250 food items, ranging from the traditional beef on weck to the newly minted sponge candy caramel cannoli.

There's also live music and appearances by famous chefs.

"But the most important thing is the food. There's tons of food there," said Ralph Basile, Taste of Buffalo 2017 chairman. "You can get everything from Asian to barbecue to Italian to Indian. You name it, we'll have it there."

Admission to the Taste of Buffalo is free.
