PALMDALE, Calif. -- Jury selection began Monday in the trial of Angel Daniel Garcia , 31, who is charged with a single count of murder for the stabbing death of 28-year-old Pamdale resident Daniel Rojas.
The incident happened on Oct. 17, 2015 at a family gathering in Palmdale in the 37600 block of Scomar Street.
According to investigators, Garcia and Rojas stepped outside and
started arguing. That argument escalating into a fight, when Garcia
allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Rojas several times.
The victim was rushed to a hospital where he died from his
injuries. Garcia did remain at the scene and that's where he was
arrested by Palmdale deputies. He has remained in jail since in lieu
of a $1 Million bail.
