A Lewis County man has been accused of attacking his boss with a chainsaw.

State police say 29-year-old Kyle Poore of Lyons Falls broke into his employer's home late Sunday night.

He used the chainsaw in an attempt to get into a bedroom, severely cutting the hand of a male victim.

Poore ran from the home on foot. He was eventually tracked down by a trooper and a bloodhound and arrested without further incident.

Poore is charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree assault.

He also faces a weapon possession charge, and endangering the welfare of a child.
