CAMILLUS, N.Y. -- A crash forced parts of Township 5 in Camillus to close down for a few hours Thursday afternoon.

A couple of cars got tangled up outside the complex and one of the vehicles involved hit an electric pole. There's no word on injuries.

People who work at Township 5 say drivers should be careful, working their way through the area.

"I've seen, I've been here for two years and I've seen already three last summer just in that area alone. It's really bad. I think the county should step in and do something about it,” said Jessica Willis, the Mesa Grande Taqueria manager.

Several businesses were temporarily closed, as restaurants could not serve food during the power outage.

Police are investigating the crash.
