NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- A popular Niagara Falls restaurant was closed to the public this Thanksgiving. But, it remained opened for those in need.

Hard Rock Cafe teamed up with  Community Missions for their annual Thanksgiving event. About 300 members were invited to a lunch and dinner at the Hard Rock.

Guests could also stock up on necessities, like winter jackets, boots and bedding.

"A lot of the feedback is just how thankful they are for everything that we've done,”Jarett Forysinski, Hard Rock Cafe Assistant General Manager said. "Being able to give them a warm meal and give them some things to go home with, a little bit of happiness around the holidays."

The Hard Rock Cafe and Community Missions have been hosting the event for nearly two decades.
