NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- A 19-year-old is in custody after leading police on a chase through Newburgh on Tuesday.
Police say they tried to stop Shaheem Seda who was driving erratically. But, they say he fled from police, leading them as far north as Marlboro before turning around and heading back south.
Seda eventually crashed his Ford Taurus near West Point's Stony Lonesome Gate.
He was treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital before he was released into police custody.
Seda is facing multiple vehicle and traffic law charges, including first-degree reckless endangerment.
