A Broome County mother enters a guilty plea in connection with the death of her six-month-old daughter.
41-year-old Danielle LeFay pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide.
Endicott police say she was co-sleeping with her daughter, on an air mattress.
They say LeFay had taken a mixture of prescription and non-prescription drugs and marijuana before going to sleep.
And, at some point in the night, she rolled onto her child and asphyxiated her.
LeFay will be sentenced in January.
