BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Finding your way to Canalside will soon be easier than ever. New signs on Route 5 and the 190 will soon be in place to help direct drivers to the waterfront destination.
The state DOT has agreed to put a sign along Route 5 at the base of the Skyway alerting drivers to use the Seneca Street exit to get to Canalside. The Thruway Authority also plans to put signs along the 190 in downtown Buffalo.
State Senator Tim Kennedy called for the new signs back in July. He also thinks other attractions should have more signage including New Era Field, KeyBank Center and Woodlawn Beach State Park.
