A member of the Marist water polo team has died in a car crash in northwest Ohio.
Courtney Fisher, 19, was a passenger in a van carrying a high school water polo team to an away match. Officials say the driver of the van pulled out in front of a tractor trailer. The two collided, and both vehicles ended up in a ditch.
Four passengers and the driver suffered life-threatening injuries and were flown to area hospitals. The driver of the semi-truck wasn't hurt.
Courtney was a sophomore at Marist. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
