The 9/11 Memorial Museum will soon host its first major art exhibition.

The "Rendering the Unthinkable" exhibit will feature 13 different artists' paintings, sculptures, or paper and video artworks.

It will examine the artists' response to the September 11th attacks.

Many of the artists saw the attack or had friends who died.

A video created by the founding members of the Blue Man Group features scraps of scorched businesses papers from the towers that landed across the East River in Brooklyn.

The exhibit opens September 12, a day after the 15th anniversary of the attacks.
