GENESEE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Local thrillseekers can head out to Genesee County for opening day at Darien Lake Theme Park.
Some of the parks newest attractions won't be open to the public until later this month.
Ripcurl Racer, the newest water slide at the park's Splashtown Area, is set to open May 21.
Starting on May 20, Darien Lake will also feature a nightly laser show.
The park is open until 8 p.m. tonight.
