BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo police need help solving the cold case death of a 20-month-old toddler.

They said Jahaira Taylor was killed almost five years ago. Authorities said an ambulance removed Taylor from a home on the 400 Block of Clinton Street in June 2011. She was pronounced dead later at Women & Children's Hospital. Police leaders said autopsy results showed Taylor died of blunt force trauma.

"We always believe there are people out there that know more than they think they know or more than they are willing to share with us," said  Buffalp Police Captain Joseph Gramaglia. "We're hoping in the case of a 20-month-old child, that we can appeal to people's conscience and come forward to provide us with information."

Crime Stoppers and Buffalo police are offering up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest.

If you know anything about Taylor's death you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 716-867-6161.
