Orchard Park police say a man who crashed his car into a pole had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit.
Kevin Boyle is charged with DWI, among other charges. Police say he hit a pole on North Buffalo Road Thursday. The pole protects several nearby gas lines and meters.
After failing several sobriety tests, police say they also found an open bottle of liquor in his car. Police say Boyle's license was already suspended for a pending DWI charge in Hamburg.
