Olde Meck­lenburg Sending 13 Thousand Beers to Germany for Trade Show

CHARLOTTE—More than 13,000 beers are headed to Germany courtesy of Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and Charlotte economic developers.

Olde Mecklenburg and a few other area businesses are slated to represent Charlotte at the world’s largest industrial trade show in Hanover, Germany later this month.

Charlotte Regional Partnership CEO Ronnie Bryant says it's the largest delegation they've ever sent to an event.

“This is the first time we've been at this magnitude. But we do trade shows of different types around the world annually. So going to a trade show is not new. This is just the biggest,” he said.

Economic developers are also meeting with German executives about bringing business to North Carolina.

The show runs from April 25^th to April 29^th.
