BUFFALO, N.Y. - The halls are fully decked in the Queen City now that rotary rink is open for holiday ice-skating.

Hundreds of Western New Yorkers came out to the 18th annual tree lighting at Fountain Plaza's Rotary Rink Saturday.

Buffalo Place officials got the evening started with a rocket to light the traditional Christmas Tree. There was ice skating, music, snacks and plenty of hot chocolate to keep people warm. The rotary rink is open Tuesday through Sunday until March 13th.

Skating is free but there is a cost to rent skates.
