LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- An investigation is underway after a man's body was discovered in the front yard of a Lockport home Friday morning.

Police Chief Larry Eggert said a neighbor was walking around 8:30 a.m. and found the body of Donald Shaw in front of a home on Waterman Street. Shaw was 41.

"It's the second body they've found now on this street since we've lived here. We've lived here 42 years, my wife and I, going on 43. It's scary. I have double bolt locks on my door my wife and I are thinking of selling our house," said Alexander Fleming, neighbor.

Eggert said there are no signs of obvious foul play but police are waiting on an autopsy for final determination.

The autopsy is being performed at Erie County Medical Center.
