PENFIELD, N.Y. -- With the cut of a ribbon, Mark's Pizzeria began a new chapter Tuesday. The family-owned business now has a superstore at the Historic Four Corners in Penfield.

The new store is dedicated to Mark Crane's late brother, Jeff. The two opened a pizzeria right next door to the new location in 1994. Along with much more seating inside and outside of the new store, there's a walking path that will take adventurers around Four Corners. You'll also notice the new buildings similarity to the historical buildings around it. That's because owners worked with the Penfield leaders to make sure the building maintained 'historical integrity.' Inside the pizzeria, it's the same. Pictures on the walls are used to document Penfield's past.

"We went to a lot of meetings to try and make this thing fit in and everyone got happy," said Mark Crane, owner of Mark’s Pizzeria. "It's been about two years trying to get it to work."

The old Mark's Pizzeria next door will be torn down within the next 10 days to make room for a new parking lot.
