ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide dating back to last May.
Michael Benjamin, 31, was arrested and arraigned on second degree murder charges. He's accused of killing Kevin Bridges, 52, during an attempted robbery.
Police say three witnesses came forward and identified Benjamin as the man who allegedly robbed and struck Bridges that morning. A fourth witness told police that Benjamin admitted to the crime. Benjamin entered a not guilty plea in Rochester City Court Wednesday.
Benjamin faces additional charges and is scheduled to return to court Tuesday, but the case will go to a grand jury.
