BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A 20-year-old Florida man will spend more than a decade behind bars in connection with a deadly shooting in Buffalo.

Jonathan Roman was sentenced in Erie County Court Tuesday to 18 years in prison and five years post-release supervision after he accepted a plea deal last month pleading guilty to first degree manslaughter.

Roman was originally charged with second degree murder in the November 2014 shooting death of Cesar Ramirez-Davila on Hudson Street. He was arrested at a home in Florida in December and brought back to New York.
