SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Several people were taken to the hospital Tuesday after a car crashed into the Blue Ribbon Diner in Schenectady during lunchtime.
Witnesses say the driver backed into a woman who was walking outside and pinned her under the car, and then hit at least three eople who were eating inside the restaurant.
The owner of the diner said the woman was pinned under the car for quite some time, as long as an hour. We're told she is in serious but stable condition at an Albany hospital.
There is no word on the conditions of the driver or other victims.
The owner hopes to reopen the restaurant by Thursday.
