BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Chef's Italian Restaurant unveiled a new "On The Go" food truck Wednesday, which will serve some of the iconic restaurant's most popular items, like spaghetti parm, stuffed shells, and chicken cutlets.
Owner Louis Billittier Jr. said he's been considering opening a food truck for 15 years, and he felt there was no better time to open one than now.
"A lot of people come in here and they used to work downtown but they're working in the Northtowns, they're working in Southtowns, and we just felt they can't get down here as much, so why not bring it to them?" he asked.
The truck was unveiled with the help of some local dignitaries such as Buffalo Bills Hall of Famer Joe DeLamielleure and Sabres French Connection winger Rene Robert.
