NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Police searched an Amtrak train in Niagara Falls on Wednesday afternoon after a false bomb scare.
Customs and Border Protection officers said the train was coming into the U.S. from Canada and was stopped for a standard inspection. K-9 units gave a positive alert that a bag on the train contained explosives.
Officers say the train was evacuated and the Erie County Bomb squad was called in.
The train was given an all-clear about two hours later.
