LEWISTON, N.Y. -- A new not-for-profit is lending a helping hand with their new Western New York-based fundraising campaign.

The Buffalove Shirt is a new company that uses its t-shirts to raise money for community members in need.

Their current campaign helps raise money for Maya Serra, a four-year-old from Lewiston with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer.

The campaign has raised almost a third of its $7,500 goal, and organizers are certain that it will continue to gain momentum.

“It's Western New York," said founder Jim Sheehan. "You'll be able to walk around and look around and see who's wearing that shirt and you know this person cares about their neighbors. I think that's what makes it special.”
