RUSH, N.Y. -- A line of strong storms moved through the area south of Rochester on Monday, causing waterlogged areas to flood again.

In Rush, drivers had to deal with a torrent of water flowing over Interstate 390 South, slowing down traffic heading out of Monroe County.

State troopers were out directing traffic and making sure no vehicles became stuck in the water. Police said if flash flooding hits, try to take an alternative route or go very slowly. It only takes about a foot of moving water for the average automobile to be swept away.
