The man accused of stabbing a former Knicks player outside a Chelsea nightclub is facing assault and weapons possession charges.
Sources say 22-year-old Shevoy Bleary Murdock was arraigned Thursday.
Police say Murdock stabbed Chris Copeland and two women, including Copeland's fiancee during a fight outside the 1-Oak nightclub on West 17th street early Wednesday morning.
Copeland, who now plays for the Pacers, underwent surgery for a punctured diaphragm and is recovering.
Meanwhile, two Atlanta Hawks players at the nightclub were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental authority.
They were released without bail, but forward Thabo Sefolosha's leg was fractured during the arrest.
The Hawks say he'll need surgery and will be out the rest of the year.
