ALBANY, N.Y. -- A state employee is facing several charges after police say she attacked a state trooper.
Police went to the Corning Tower Friday and found Sarah Barrett, 40, sitting on the floor. They say she smelled of alcohol.
While talking with her, police say she hit a trooper. She was arrested, and continued to struggle with troopers as they placed her in custody.
She was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, and obstructing governmental administration. She was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail on bail.
