ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Wegmans Food Markets has once again made the list. Fortune Magazine released it's '100 Best Companies to Work For' list Thursday morning.
Wegmans was ranked #7 in the nationwide contest. This marks the 18th year in a row that the family-owned Wegmans has appeared on the Fortune list.
The 85-store supermarket chain opened its first store in Rochester back in 1916.
It continues to expand. In 2015, Wegmans is opening new stores in Alexandria, Virginia, Westwood, Massachusetts and Concordville, Pennsylvania.
Customers get to celebrate the top-100 honor as well. Cake will be served at each store on Saturday.
