BUFFALO, N.Y. --Thousands of students attended a concert at Kleinhans this morning. The event, put on by the

Buffalo Philharmonic and the West Side Connection, was all about the celebration of expression through the arts.

The concert featured a hip-hop break dancer performing dances such as b-boying with a mix of break dancing.

The music was played by a full orchestra . They performed  selections from the  legend Quincy Jones.

"I think the kids enjoyed it and I think it was great for them to see that whether it be a orchestra or whether its a drum machine or whether its breaking or b-boying   or doing the waltz its all dance it's all music so its all one thing" said Shane Depree Fry of the Verve Dance Studio.

He says that this is a great way for young people to express themselves in a creative way.
